Emotional Fitness: A Mindfulness Approach to Reclaiming and Maintaining Wellness

Learn basic mindfulness tools, both for regular wellness practice and for reclaiming emotional well-being. Explore the practice of unconditional self-acceptance and a number of other practices to cultivate living intentionally, even during brief or extended periods of emotional distress. You will also have an opportunity to experience a basic form of meditation for moving toward living in better balance with the alarm (fight/flight/freezing) response and reflect on the “two-story” approach to trauma recovery.
